Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7, intends to negotiate and award a sole source, firm fixed price contract for counseling services for combat veterans suffering from PTSD to Hugh A. Christie, Ph.D., 220-C West College Street, Griffin, GA 30224. The period of performance will be for a six (6) month term - April 16, 2018 through October 15, 2018. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), this contract is being awarded to the incumbent as an interim measure to prevent a disruption of services for the beneficiaries of the Atlanta VA Medical Center, Atlanta, GA. This contract will accommodate an urgent need while the Government refines its requirements for award of a long-term contract, or otherwise attains the ability to provide the services in-house. The applicable NAICS code is 621330 (Offices of Mental Health Practitioners, except Physicians), with a size standard of $7.5 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responses received will only be considered for future purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government.
