Description
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) intends to award a contract with Alion Science and Technologies Corporation, 1000 Burr Ridge Pkwy, Suite 202 Burr Ridge, IL 60527-0849, and CAGE Code: 3BM47 on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, œOnly one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  Effort must be completed by June 2020 in order to avoid unacceptable delays in fulfilling the governments requirement. For this follow-on effort, the scope according to the SOW is to support NAWCTSD in expanding the Initial Operating Capability (IOC) of Device 19H6 and operationalize the trainer as the Life Cycle Maintenance (LCM) training solution to include the following deliverables: Deliverable 1 “ Complete 19H6 LHD-8 MCS training exercises Under the guidance of NAWCTSD, Alion will provide analysis, design, development, and testing as required to expand the LHD-8 MCS maintenance capability from 37% to 100% (50 anticipated new exercises). Deliverable 2 “ Complete 19H6 DDG-M MCS training exercises Under the guidance of NAWCTSD, Alion will provide analysis, design, development, and testing as required to expand the DDG-M MCS maintenance capability from 37% to 100% (49 anticipated new exercises). Deliverable 3 “ Complete 19H6 DDG FLT IIA MCS training exercises Under the guidance of NAWCTSD, Alion will provide analysis, design, development, and testing as required to expand the DDG FLT IIA MCS maintenance capability from 16% to 100% (59 anticipated new exercises). Deliverable 4 “ Complete 19H6 DDG FLT I/II (Baseline) MCS training exercises Under the guidance of NAWCTSD, Alion will provide analysis, design, development, and testing as required to expand the DDG FLT I/II (Baseline) MCS maintenance capability from 15% to 100% (117 anticipated new exercises).
