Description
The contractor shall provide all design/build services to include labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and all other resources necessary for the design and construction to upgrade HVAC in the Nuclear Medicine department at the Orlando VA Medical Center in accordance with the solicitation, Statement of Work (SOW) and other specifications. Project No./Title: 675-18-803/HVAC Remediation Work Location: Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC), 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL Estimated Target Completion Period: 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Size Standard is $36.5 Million. Product Service Code Z2DA, Repair or Alteration of Hospitals and Infirmaries. This is a design-build project/solicitation that will use trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 25, 2018. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov At the time of proposal submission, all interested firms must have current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.SAM.GOV and certified as a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business in Vet-Biz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications.
