Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to hire a Contractor for Activation services Activation Warehouse San Jose CBOC for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to perform building activation services for The VA Palo Alto Health Care System s (VAPAHCS) new community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC) which is 95,000 GSF and will be located in San Jose, CA. Activation services include support of tasks related to Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) and Information Technology (IT) related items required to activate the CBOC. This scope of work includes, but is not limited to, receiving, inspecting, warehousing, transporting, and installing new FF&E and IT items. The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to move new FF&E items to the new CBOC building located in San Jose, CA. This scope of work includes, but is not limited to, validating the FF&E item inventory list, planning the move, moving FF&E items, moving packed boxes, and uninstalling and reinstalling FF&E items. THIS RFP SHALL BE 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Solicitation documents will be available on or about April 10, 2018. The solicitation will contain proposal instructions. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, and will utilize Best-Value Tradeoff Source Selection Process IAW FAR 15.101-1.
