- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Community Treatment Services Contracting; Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient Substance Abuse, Mental Health and Sex Offender Treatment Services in Newport News, Virginia. The location where services are to be provided should be within a thirteen (13) mile radius from the United States Federal Courthouse located at 2400 West Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607. Locations must be within the 13 mile radius and located on the Virginia Peninsula (Lower Peninsula). Locations not on the Virginia Peninsula are excluded. The location must be located within a.5 mile walk from public transportation. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on August 01, 2018 with seven (7) one-year option renewal periods with service ending (if all options are renewed) on July 31, 2026. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, Option Year Four, Option Five, Option Six, and Option Seven, respectively. The Following services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. Hard copies of the request for quote will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about May 11, 2018. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is unrestricted. The Bureau anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
