Description
Special Notice Event Information Floor Plan The National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI) located in Hoover, Alabama is a special program under a section of the Office of Investigations of the United States Secret Service. The NCFI provides training to state and local law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and judges in the aspects of computer and mobile forensics. The NCFI has a wide range of requirements for supplies and services which include: instruction services, commercial off-the-shelf computers, mobile forensics equipment and software. The list below provides a brief sampling of some of the equipment and software acquired from various vendors over the past several years. Cellebrite UFED Touch Ultimate MSAB XRY Complete Kit Susteen Mobile Forensics Kit Paraben Mobile Forensics Kit HTCI Fox Forensic Workstation Digital Intelligence Forensic Recovery of Evidence Desktop (FRED) Sumuri Talino Forensic Workstation Mac Forensics Training Mobile Device Examiner Course Network Intrusion Training Digital Intelligence Writeblocker Kit Ditto Writeblocker Kit Guidance EnCase Software Access Data Forensic Toolkit Magnet Forensics Internet Evidence Finder Blackbag Blacklight and Macquisition Software Mobile Device in Court for Prosecutors Berla Blackthorn and iVE A sampling of the courses by the NCFI includes the following: Please note: There is no upcoming solicitation for the training courses, if you which to provide the NCFI with your capabilities or learn more about the NCFI program you can do so as this will be used for future opportunities. Advanced Forensics Training Advanced Mobile Device Examiner Course Basic Computer Evidence Recovery Training Basic Computer Evidence Program Basic Computer Evidence Program for Supervisors Basic Mobile Device Investigators Course Basic Scripting Techniques Course Computer Forensics in Court for Judges Computer Forensics in Court for Prosecutors Mac Forensics Training Mobile Device Examiner Course Mobile Device in Court for Prosecutors Network Intrusion Training Attendees to this event will also include other components of the United Secret Service with similar requirements. The Industry Day will be held at National Computer Forensics Institute, 2020 Valleydale Road, Suite 209, Hoover, Alabama 35244. On-site point of contact: Latonya P. Wright, 205-989-5300, latonya.wright@usss.dhs.gov. An Industry Day event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 16, 2018. All interested firms wishing to attend the Industry Day event are required to register by submitting the name of all attendees (Limit three per vendor) by Friday, May 4, 20185:00 pm (Eastern Time) to the attention of: Uma.Redwine@usss.dhs.gov, Contracting Specialist and Lauren Edwards, Contracting Officer at email: Lauren.Edwards@usss.dhs.gov. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted. Registration will be based on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited to 15 attendees. There are no security requirements. This event is open to all interested parties. Due to space limitations, no more than three (3) representatives from each contractor will be permitted to attend. The Government will not pay for any information provided or costs associated with travel to the Industry Day. Neither the planning nor the establishment of an Industry Day constitutes an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Request For proposal (RFP), or a Request for Quote (RFQ). No solicitation documents exist at this time. Participation in this Industry Day, as well as current and/or follow-on Requests for Information, is neither mandatory nor is it a requisite to future participation by a contractor in any future contract Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government neither to conduct business nor to publish a solicitation. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this announcement.
