- DESCRIPTION: Please note that the solicitation is ready to be issued. The Embassy of the United States in Nairobi, will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available. The requirement is for the provision of Maintenance Services for Four (4) Passenger Elevators and One (1) Cargo Elevator: Make (Schindler) and Model (Mic.TX-GCBR30/50/85) at the U.S. Embassy Nairobi, Kenya. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps. Please see the RFP for the actual date. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
