Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA, 24153, has a requirement for a contractor to monitor, inspect, and perform necessary repairs to all fire alarm systems (and its components) located in Salem VAMC and its outlying buildings. The Contractor shall provide all transportation, labor, tools, and equipment to perform the service and documentation to fulfill the contract requirements. This is a Pre-solicitation only. Interested contractors should watch for the issuance of the solicitation which will have specific instructions and requirements associated with this procurement. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about April 12, 2018. In accordance with Public Law, P.L. 109-461, this is a 100% SDVOSB set-aside. The NAICS Code for this procurement 561621 - Fire alarm monitoring services, with a maximum small business size standard of $20.5 Million. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) and verified in VIP (www.VIP.VETBIZ.gov) as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prior to submitting a Quote. This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for pricing at this time. No phone calls please.
