Description
** A SITE VISIT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 23, 2018 9:00 AM LOCAL TIME** TAHOKA SERVICE CENTER 1603 S. 2ND STREET TAHOKA, TX 79373 The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Contracting Services Branch (CSB) Team 4 intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Wetland Reserve Program (ACEP) Restoration Brush Management (Chemical) in Lynn County, Texas. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications in accordance with the Specifications, drawings and plans hereto. The work consists of aerial application of herbicide on USDA NRCS Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) easements located in Lynn County, Texas. This specification shall cover the supply of all labor, materials, and equipment required for performing the chemical application on various sites consisting of a total of 773.0 acres on mesquite as shown on plan maps. The chemical or chemicals used for this project must carry a guarantee by the manufacturer that the chemical mix will kill the target specie. This specification shall cover the supply of all labor, materials, and equipment required for performing the chemical application on various sites consisting of a total of 304.3 acres on salt cedar as shown on plan maps. The chemical or chemicals used for this project must carry a guarantee by the manufacturer that the chemical mix will kill the target specie. This is a Request for Quote solicited using the simplified acquisitions procedures of FAR Part 13. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $150,000. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $36.5M. The approximate start work date will be May 15, 2018 or as soon as conditions allow, with a required completion date of August 30, 2018. The solicitation will be a Total 100% Small Business set-aside. The full solicitation package including any specifications and drawings will be available from the Federal Business Opportunities website on or around April 6, 2018. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.
