Description
The scope of this project is to provide all design build services, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and other resources necessary to replace 2 Air Handler Units (65 and 66) in Building 1 that are end of their life. It will also replace ducts, Variable Air Volume boxes, exhaust fans and associated controls. Project No.: 673-18-610/Replace AHU 65 and 66 Work Location: James A Haley Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Tampa, FL Estimated Target Completion Period: 365 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS: 236220. Size Standard is $36.5 Million. Product Services Code: Z2DA This is a design-build project/solicitation that will use the trade-off selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 5, 2018. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management https://www.sam.gov and certified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications. In addition, contractors should incorporate pollution prevention and waste minimization into operations.
