***************** A site visit will be held 10 AM CST, Tuesday, April 17th 2018 at Tenkiller Lake Office 446977 East 980 Rd Gore, OK 74435 ********************* Construction services needed to construct a Wastewater Lagoon and Fencing at Snake Creek PUA(Public Use Area) at Tenkiller Lake, Oklahoma. The estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. 6. SNAKE CREEK AREA LAGOON CONSTRUCTION. The lagoon will be located directly North of restroom #2 and existing lagoon in area A. After rehabilitation the lagoon will have a one cell system approximately 100 feet x 100 feet, inside lip at top of dike, and be a minimum of 7 feet deep. 6.1. The top of the new lagoon must be at least one foot below the top of the existing lagoon. Removed earthen materials may be used to build the lagoon walls to a 1:3 slope. Any excess may be disposed of nearby in an areas designated by the COR. 6.2. The contractor shall install one discharge pipe from the existing lagoon into the new lagoon. The discharge pipe must be 2 feet from the top of the existing lagoon and slope down hill to the new lagoon at a rate of 1 inch drop to every 3 feet of linner run. The discharge pipe shall be 4-inch schedule 40 PVC. 6.3. The contractor shall restore the dike wall on existing lagoon to a 1:3 slope. To prevent runoff from entering the new lagoon the uphill dike shall be a minimum of 2 feet above grade. The contractor will furnish fill material if there is not enough onsite. Fill material shall be homogeneous clay (same as clay liner, material specifications are in paragraph 8). Finished grade shall be mowable (no rock, stumps, or holes). 6.4. The contractor shall install one foot of homogeneous clay lining to interior cell walls and bottom. The clay shall be placed in 6-inch lifts and thoroughly compacted. The bottom of the lagoon shall be level. Refer to paragraph 8 for clay liner specifications and installation. 6.5. After the earthwork is completed and accepted by the Government, the contractor shall furnish and seed the exposed dike walls with a 50/50 mix of rye and Bermuda grass seed. 7. SNAKE CREEK LAGOON FENCING. The lagoon will be located directly North of restroom #2 and existing lagoon in area A. 7.1 N/A. 7.2 Fencing material specifications are under 9. 7.3 The contractor shall fill in holes left as a result of fencing removal and return any disturbed areas to a mowable condition. Any site visit information will be issued via amendment. Please see the solicitation for details and any amendments for updates on time and location. This acquisition is being competed as 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code is 237110.
