California Site List Attachment 1 - Draft PWS RFI THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. RFI is issued for the purpose of developing a viable solicitation that will best communicate the Government's requirements to industry. Response to this RFI is strictly voluntary and will not affect any corporation's ability to submit an offer if, or when, a solicitation is released. The Contracting Officer (CO) is contemplating a regionalized strategy with one or more competitively awarded hybrid Construction and Services contracts awarded in each region. The requirements will focus on follow-on BRAC cleanup efforts, and the source selection will use best value trade-off procedures for the evaluation of proposals. This RFI seeks industry feedback on the contemplated acquisition strategy including vendor experience and capabilities, potential regionalization of installations, and quantitative measurement of remedial optimization. Vendors are asked to submit responses to the questions contained in this RFI. This requirement includes the full range of environmental construction and optimization services necessary to conduct site restoration including maintenance of established remedies, implementation of optimization to enhance remedial progress at applicable sites, continuing the current approach to advance sites to completion within the PoP and achieving site specific objectives as identified in each contract/Task Order (TO).
