- FA8522-18-R-0008 This is a notice of intent that AFSC/PZABB anticipates to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Requirements, 5-Year contract (Basic Ordering Period + 4 Ordering Periods), for the purchase of RF Switch Matrix, (NSN): 5985-01-208-8253EW, part number (PN) 037-003087-001 & MPM365-B, that is part of the Band 7 Transmitter within the AN/ALQ-161A Electronic Counter Measures System for the B1-B Aircraft.. This effort is a FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements acquisition to Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions Inc. Cage 93346. NSN: 5985-01-208-8253EW will be procured with a total estimated quantity of 1-30 each over the five ordering periods. Delivery is 180 days after contract award. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 334511 Countermeasure sets (e.g., active countermeasures, jamming equipment manufacturing) with the Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED 15 DAYS OR THEREAFTER FROM THIS NOTICE. However, Interested Party or Person(s), responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s), which will be considered. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 30 days after issuance of solicitation, or 45 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
