Description

Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Canon Solutions America, Inc. of Melville, NY to provide an annual service plan for Canon image-press production printing equipment located at the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Orlando, FL. The service program includes recurring consumables and all-inclusive (parts & labor) services for preventive maintenance and repair services for each device. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210 Facility Support Services, with a small business size standard of $38,500,000.00. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services to maintain Canon printing equipment, to the Contracting Officer within seven (15) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements, show experience providing maintenance and repair services to Canon equipment, and access to Original Manufacturer Equipment (OEM) parts. Information must be sent to the Kurt Kramer, Contracting Officer at Kurt.Kramer@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 8 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Canon Solutions America, Inc.
