- Request for Information (RFI) - Real Estate Support Field Office (RSFO) Construction Requirement The purpose of this request for information (RFI) is to confirm that there are capable contractors with (or can secure) active NAICS 236220 for construction (including new work, additions, alterations, maintenance, and repairs) of commercial and institutional buildings and related structures that are qualified and can perform construction and project coordination support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Real Property Services Field Office (RSFO) Division located in Annapolis Junction, MD. This project is for the design- build (D/B) construction to replace four (4) 1.0 MW generators with two new 1.5 MW, EPA Tier II and prime rated generators. The project includes replacement and modernization of generator controls, switchgear controls, PLC based automation, manual operator controls and switchgear replacement. Outages to the facility must be limited during construction and will provider is required to conduct pre-coordination and secure government approval for scheduling with methods and procedures. The estimated period of performance of this requirement will be approximately twenty-four (24) months in duration. The Government is seeking a one page response to this RFI from contractors outlining the following information: 1. Can the contractor do work in Colorado? 2. Has the contractor done work in Colorado? 3. Does the contractor have a known or perceived Organizational Conflict of Interest with RMF Engineer, Whitman, Requardt & Associates, or Faithful Gould? 4. Does the contractor have experience with Design and Construction for Generator Replacement with in a secure facility? 5. How many personnel do you currently have available immediately with a TS/SCI Clearance? 6. Do you currently maintain an active Facility Site Clearance? Response via email will be the only accepted method of submission. Responses are due by NLT Friday, 4 May 2018 at 12:00PM ET.
