NAVSUP HQ has a requirement for on-site instructor led training for fundamental skills necessary to become an effective leader within the organization. The course will include an opportunity for self- reflection, developing effective communication skills, strategies for constructively resolving conflicts, and information on being a professional leader. The course will examine strategies in creating a highly effective team, the importance of possessing strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in an ever changing workplace. The course is to be split up into 11 total modules as such: Module 1: DiSC Self-Assessment Module 2: Mentoring Module 3: Emotional Intelligence Module 4: Effective Communication Module 5: Interpersonal Skills Module 6: Professionalism, Integrity, and Honesty Module 7: Team Building Module 8: Critical Thinking Module 9: Problem Solving Module 10: Conflict Resolution/Conflict Management Module 11: Career Mapping.
