- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS A SYNOPSIS (SUMMARY). THE SOLICITATION PERTAINING TO THIS NOTICE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THIS NOTICE. The Army Contracting Command-Redstone has a requirement for the acquisition of one (1) each APX-119 RT-1853D Mark XII/Mode 5 ADS-B Digital IFF Transponder part number 4079100-0530, one (1) each Mode 5 ADS-B Digital Control Panel part number 4087561-0502, one (1) each Personality Module for DCP part number 4088953-0501 and one (1) each MT-4811 Standard IFF Mount part number 4038850-0501. This requirement will be solicited as a sole source requirement to Raytheon Company, 6260 Guardian Gateway, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. Raytheon is identified as the only vendor able to provide the stated transponders and accessories. Solicitation number W31P4Q-18-Q-0068 is to be a firm fixed price acquisition, in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 334220. CLIN 0001 will be issued as one (1) each APX-119 RT-1853D Mark XII/Mode 5 ADS-B Digital IFF Transponder part number 4079100-0530, CLIN 0002 will be issued as one (1) each Mode 5 ADS-B Digital Control Panel part number 4087561-0502, CLIN 0003 will be issued as (1) each Personality Module for DCP part number 4088953-0501, CLIN 0004 will be issued as one (1) each MT-4811 Standard IFF Mount part number 4038850-0501 and CLIN 0005 will be issued for shipping and handling. All responsible concerns may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Contract award is anticipated on or about 24 May 2018.
