Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR NURSING HOME CARE SERVICES. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Alexandria VA Health Care System, intends to release a commercial solicitation for the provision of Community Nursing Home services at the contractor s facility for qualified Veterans Affairs patients. The Community Nursing Home must be within five (5) miles of the boundaries of the city of Avoyelles Parish. All contract details, which include full specifications and Performance Work, Statement will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates the award of an Infinite Definite Contract (IDC) to the successful offeror for this requirement. The period of performance is 31 August 2018 through 30 August 2019 with (4) option years. All work is to be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The designated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 623110 (Nursing Care Facilities) with a small business size standard of $27.5M. Any contractor who wishes to receive a copy of the RFP may submit a request in writing. A fax is also acceptable. The Fax Number is (318) 990-4069. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration, VetBiz Registration, all offerors shall be registered System for Award Management (SAM) and in VetBiz databases under the applicable NAICS. Offeror may obtain SAM information at www.sam.gov and VetBiz information at www.vetbiz.gov. To be eligible for award contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible to avoid delays in consideration for a contract award. The Solicitation should be available on or about April 9, 2018 at www.fedbizops.gov. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address and offerors are responsible for obtaining any/all amendments issued.
