Description
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Great Lakes Region 5, is announcing an opportunity for the "Judge Rice Courtroom Lighting" project at the Dayton Federal Building and US Courthouse at 200 West Second Street, Dayton OH. 45402. The scope of work of this project includes but is not limited to: the renovation of interior spaces including the partial removal of existing ceilings and lighting, installing new ceiling and soffits, installing new lighting and controls, installing new ductwork and diffusers, performing related wood-work, electrical work and fire protection work per the specifications described in the drawings and scope of work. This procurement is a total small business set aside. Funds are presently available for the project. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million. The total estimated construction cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a negotiated procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening. The awardee will be competitively chosen using Source Selection (FAR 15.3) procedures. The objective of the Source Selection Process is to select a proposal that represents the best value to the government. The solicitation will be available on or about May 7, 2018. All contractors must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, to be considered for award. BE ADVISED: If you are registering a new entity in SAM.gov, you must provide and mail an original, signed notarized letter stating that you are the authorized Entity Administrator before your registration will be activated. If you are updating, or renewing your registration in SAM.gov after 4/27/18, you must also provide a notarized letter before your updated registration will be activated. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s) if any to the solicitation. Offers will be due on or about June 7, 2018 by 4:00pm (ET).
