- Pediatric Ambulance Services at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) is seeking sources to provide pediatric ambulance services in support of Naval Medical Center (NMC) Portsmouth, VA. Service is required to provide transport both to and from NMC Portsmouth, VA, located at 620 John Paul Jones Circle, Portsmouth, VA. Pick-up/drop-off locations may be military or civilian facilities. The contractor shall be responsible for providing both Pediatric/Neonatal (infants under 28 days old) critical and Neonatal noncritical transport within a 75 mile radius of NMC Portsmouth, VA. Services shall include all necessary personnel, vehicles, equipment, and supplies. Services are required on an as needed basis 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, with the response time agreed upon each time a transport is needed based on the patient's condition. The estimated quantity is 100 transports per year, consisting of 4,500 miles. Current incumbent information: N62645-16-D-5037, CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF THE KINGS DAUGHTER, 601 Children Ln, Norfolk, VA 23507-1910. The period of performance is 01 October 2018 through 30 September 2023. This sources sought notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data, and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work. Capability statements shall not exceed 5 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source contract. Capability statements are due by 10:00 AM EST on Wednesday, 2 May 2018.
