Statement of Work - DRAFT Sources Sought Notice NOTICE: Sources Sought Synopsis POSTING DATE: 24 April 2018 RESPONSE DATE: 04 May 2018, 11:00 a.m. CST (Central Standard Time) NAICS Code: 326299, All Other Rubber Product Manufacturing SB Size Standard: 500 Employees This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis and is for information purposes only. This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract or Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. The information submitted in response to this Sources Sought notice will not be utilized to determine vendor standing in any future/potential Request for Quote/Request for Proposal, nor will it be utilized to determine if a vendor is qualified to submit a Request for Quote/Request for Proposal for any future/potential requirement. The notice and the information received shall not be used to determine how well respondents can perform a requirement, which can only be evaluated in response to a solicitation. Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought request. All future/proposed submissions/solicitations requirements solicited on a Governmentwide Point of Entry will be evaluated independent of any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought notice. No vendor will be provided information on solicitations issued on a Governmentwide Point of Entry based on this Sources Sought request. Hurlburt Field is conducting research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide inspection and overhaul of 20 man life rafts under NAICS 326299, All Other Rubber Product Manufacturing. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey to determine market capabilities. The services are to provide all management, tools, equipment, supplies and labor necessary to inspect, repair, overhaul and repack LRU-33A and LRU-34A 20 man life rafts owned by the 1 Special Operations Support Squadron (1 SOSS) Aircrew Equipment units at Hurlburt Field, FL, in accordance with (IAW) the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). This draft SOW has been included to give interested firms a general understanding of the nature and scope of work to be performed. This draft is not a final indication of all services to be performed under this contract or BPA effort. Instruction to Offerors: To indicate positive interest or submit questions in regards to this requirement, please submit the following to the 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron: 1. Recent and relevant past performance on similar work and indicate how your firm is capable of performing the services as identified in the attached SOW. If none, indicate as such. A lack of past performance does not preclude contractors from indicating positive interest. 2. Explain how your firm is capable of providing warranty for this type of service rendered. 3. Include your firm's standard timeframe for completing services as identified in the SOW. 4. POC (name, telephone number, and email address) along with contractor's CAGE Code, DUNS, and the physical location of your facility. Required Information: This request may not directly lead to a Request for Quotation/Proposal. Any interested party who can offer all of the above may submit an electronic written reply, of not more than 3 pages, addressing each of the above items and defining how their location is capable of ALL minimum requirements listed above.
