Description

Justification For Other Than Full And Open Competition / Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to enter into a sole source contract with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) for the procurement of ASHP accreditation services for the accreditation of a pharmacy residency program for one (1) year at the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System, 459 Patterson Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 813910 Business Associations, and the business size standard is $7.5 million. The service classification code is R408 Program Management/Support Services. The authority for this sole source procurement is pursuant to 41 U.S.C. §3304(a)(1) Use of Non Competitive Procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE IS NOT A SOLICITATION, AND QUOTES ARE NOT REQUESTED. A determination by the U.S. Government to not compete this procurement, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to susanne.christen@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this announcement must be received no later than 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on May 27, 2018.
