- Title: chemical inventory on-line software program A. This notice is issued as a Sources Sought notice for information purposes only. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote/Proposal/Bid or complete package outlining the technical competencies/qualifications of the prospective contractor, nor does it represent any commitment by the Government. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Vendors will not receive a formal notification or feedback on any information submitted nor will they be reimbursed for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. A solicitation does not presently exist. All future proposed submissions or solicitation requirements will be solicited through the Government Point of Entry (GPE) and will be evaluated independent of any information submitted in response to this sources sought notice. B. The DLA Contracting Service Office of Columbus, Ohio is conducting market research in support of the DLA Product Test Center in Philadelphia to determine the existence of potential sources to support a chemical inventory on-line software. The Product Test Center in Philadelphia is looking for a responsible contractor to provide a chemical inventory on-line software for the following uses: • Adding and uploading chemical inventory information • Linking inventory data to safety and regulatory information • Accessing safety information and linking to Standard Data Sheets for specific chemicals • Searches for specific inventory information using values for fields that were included during inventory entry, update, delete, and copy single or multiple inventory records • Managing demographic data, users, and facility information C. Requested Information 1) What is the name, address, CAGE code, and DUNS number of your business? 2) Provide a point of contact (POC) to include name, telephone number, and email address. 3) Based on the FAR 2.101 definition of a commercial item, would you consider the product you would provide a commercial service? 4) Identify any projects completed in the past three years for the same or similar items to help determine your firm's capability in meeting the requirement for the items listed. Include any government contracts (federal, state, or local) that you have been awarded for this type of requirement. Also, include the contract number and a government point of contact. 5) Is this product available on a GSA schedule? If so, please provide the GSA schedule number and part number. 6) Are you the online software developer and manager of the service you are proposing? If you are not the online software developer, who is? D. The Government is conducting market research primarily in order to determine if there are firms that possess the capability to execute the requirements for this sources sought. Therefore, we further invite all business concerns to provide a capability statement in response to this notice. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to any award of any federal government contract. Contractors are encouraged to obtain further information on SAM registration at the following website, https: www.sam.gov. E. All responses shall be received by 4 May 2018 at 10:00 AM ET. Responses shall be no more than 10 pages (single spaced, front and back, no smaller than Times New Roman font size 11) and include a specification sheet for proposed items. If submissions exceed the page count noted, the Government will only review the first 10 pages and disregard the remainder of the submission. Supporting materials such as brochures and product catalogs are welcome.
