Description

SPECIAL NOTICE The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System proposes to negotiate a noncompetitive award with SPOK, LLC for the provision and installation of a paging transmitter infrastructure to enable full functionality of the SPOK pager system in use at 2400 Canal Street in order to receive signal anywhere on campus. This equipment broadcasts a specific frequency licensed to SPOK, LLC by the FCC and therefore no other company is allowed to install this equipment per the manufacturer (SPOK, LLC). SPOK, LLC is the only contractor able to install and program said equipment. This award is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations: Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by May 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., CST in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
