Description

Network Contracting Office 21 intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for Project 640A0-18-150, Upgrade South-West Campus Landscaping, VA Menlo Park Campus. The contractor shall provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses and supervision for complete site preparation, site drainage, hardscape and landscaping services per specifications and drawings. Place of performance is 795 Willow Road, Menlo Park California 94025. Specifically, in the South-West quadrant of VA Menlo Park Campus. This project calls for landscaping of open areas, modifying storm water retention basin, adding fencing and provide pedestrian concrete paving. In addition, contractor to provide design elements to be developed and approved by VA prior to mobilization. Period of Performance is 150 days from issuance of Notice To Proceed. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available at www.fbo.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments to the solicitation through FBO. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of all bidders to frequently check the website for all notices, amendment, etc., regarding this solicitation. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not sent or received by the bidder regarding the solicitation. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as an IFB conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 14 Sealed Bidding. This project is being solicited as a total set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small-Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 561730, Landscaping Services, with a small business size standard of $7.5 million. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about 18 May 2018. In accordance with FAR 5.203, this notice is being published at least fifteen days before issuance of the solicitation.
