Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Advanced Communication and Cabling, 120 Market Street, Georgetown, TX 78626. The procurement is to integrate Community Living Center (CLC) Rauland Wander Guard System to Rauland Nurse Call System at the Olin E. Teague Veterans Medical Center, 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, TX 76504. The period of performance is within 90 days of award. Advanced Communication and Cabling is the only authorized distributor for Rauland in the Temple, TX region. The designated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238210 with a small business size standard of 15 million dollars. The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 13.106 (b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement are to submit information (including whether they are Rauland authorized service provider, and Government contract number, if applicable) to Ross Futch, Contract Specialist, at ross.futch@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Response must be received no later than 10 AM CST on May 8, 2018. All information shall be furnished at no cost to the Government. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals.
