MONORAIL BRIDGE CRANE ELECTRICAL UPGRADE GENERAL INFORMATION: Document Type: Solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: W912NW-18-T-0041 Set Aside: 100% Small Business NAICS Code: 333923, Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist,and Monorail-- Contracting Office Address: Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) Contracting Office Army Contracting Command 10221 Ave E, Bldg 1770 Corpus Christi, TX 78419-5211 DESCRIPTION: The CCAD Contracting Office is soliciting on a 100% Small business set aside basis for a non personal service contract for the Monorail Bridge Crane Electrical Upgrade Composite Shop-BLDG 8 located on the Corpus Christi Army, Corpus Christi, Texas. 78419. Offers will be solicited only from business concerns current in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database. BASIS FOR AWARD: AWARD WILL BE BASED ON LOWEST PRICE. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All offers are due no later than 25 May 2018 (Central Daylight Saving Time) at 04:00Pm. Solicitation document shall be signed and all applicable Certifications and Representations shall be completed. 1. Complete blocks 12, 17a, and 30a, b, and c of the SF 1449. In doing so, the offeror accedes to the contract terms and conditions as written in the SOLICITATION, with attachments. The SOLICITATION constitutes the model contract. 2. Insert proposed extended prices "amount" on page 3 thru 12 of the SF 1449 " for CLINs 0001,. 3. Complete blocks 15A, 15B, and 15C of the Amendment SF30 when/if issued. In doing so, the offeror accedes to the contract terms and conditions as written in the SOLICITATION, with attachments. 4. The solicitation is available in electronic format only. No hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the website, www.fbo.gov for any and all amendments to this solicitation. 5. All payments are to be paid via the Internet through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system. WAWF may be accessed at https://wawf.eb.mil. WAWF training may be accessed online at http://www.wawftraining.com. Payment information may be accessed using the DFAS website at https:www.dfas.mil. Your purchase order/contract number or invoice will be required to inquire status of your payment. 6. Be advised that all interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database in order to receive payment for products/services rendered to the Government as the result of an award. If you are not registered you may request an application at (334) 206-7828 or through the SAM website at https://sam.gov. 8. All questions to this solicitation must be received by the Contracting office's identified Points of Contact before 1:00 pm (Central Daylight Saving Time) 20 May 2014. All questions to this solicitation must be received IN WRITING to the POC below via email. POC: Mr. Kevin M. Palmer, Contract Specialist at kevin.m.palmer8.civ@mail.com SITE VISIT INFORMATION 1. One site visit will be held to ensure all potential offerors have uniform information in order to make an accurate proposal. It is considered impractical to determine, without inspection, the exact nature of the work and site conditions under which the work is to be performed. 2. Site visit will be conducted on 16 May 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Central Daylight Saving Time at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Contracting office, building 129. All potential offerors may attend the site visit to perform an inspection of the chillers and HVAC units within the scope of this requirement. 3. Offerors are expected to satisfy themselves as to the general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the performance of the work to the extent that such information is reasonably obtainable. It is considered impractical to determine, without inspection, the exact nature of the work and site conditions under which the work is to be performed. 4. A maximum of two representatives from each company are allowed. To attend please submit an email to deno.a.stamos.civ@mail.mil. Include attendee's names, company name, address, phone number, fax number and Driver's License number. Deadline for emails is Friday, 11 May 2018, 4:00pm CT. It is the responsibility of the contractor to confirm the email is received. After submission of email should a person not be available to attend, send a cancellation email to the same POC. 5. Interested parties are advised to arrive by 8:30 a.m. in order to receive security passes and clearance. 6. Place: Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi Army Depot, Contracting Office, Bldg. 1727 (interested parties should arrive at least one and a half hours prior to site visit time to receive security passes) 7. The contractor must have their own ear plugs, safety glasses and safety shoes to have access to the various work sites. 8. NO CAMERAS ALLOWED FOR SITE VISIT. 9. QUESTIONS: Questions shall be answered at the conclusion of the site visit. Any additional questions shall be submitted in writing via email to deno.a.stamos.civ@mail.mil by 20 May 2014. Inquiries shall contain the solicitation number (W912NW-18-T-0041) and must be addressed to the attention of Kevin M. Palmer, Contract Specialist.
