- COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION: RFQ 140P6218Q0021 (Note: Disregard the SF-1449 Form if one is posted with this Combined Synopsis Solicitation. Only those documents listed in paragraph B. below pertain to the solicitation.) STORAGE UNITS RENTAL. The National Park Service Heartland Inventory and Monitoring Network (HTLN) located at Wilson's Creek National Battlefield in Republic, Missouri has a requirement for the rental of three storage units. The rental period(s) would be for one (1) base year, with four (4) one-year options. Option years are not guaranteed and will be exercised at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. A. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: 1. All three units are to be located at one storage facility location. 2. Storage facility is to be within approximately five (5) linear miles from HTLN. 3. Unit Sizes/Dimensions: (a) One - 20' x 20' unit with minimum height of 10' (b) One - 15' x 15' unit with minimum height of 10' (c) One - 12' x 40' unit for boat storage, with minimum height of 10' 4. The government's detailed specifications are found in the "Combined Synopsis Solicitation RFQ 140P6218Q0021" included with this Notice. B. Documents included with this RFQ are: - Combined Synopsis and Solicitation; consisting of 4 pages. - Attachment 1: Quote Submittal and Price Schedule; consisting of 3 pages. - Attachment 2: Clauses and Provisions; consisting of 22 pages. - Attachment 3: Wage Determination; consisting of 10 pages. C. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed-price services contract and is expected to be awarded in late May 2018. D. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The contract shall be for a BASE period of one year from the date of award, with four (4) one-year OPTIONS available. Options are not guaranteed and shall be exercised at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. E. NAICS CODE: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this solicitation is 531130. F. SET ASIDE: This is a Total Small Business set-aside opportunity. G. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: A size standard of $38.5 million for owners of building spaces leased to the Federal Government, and a size standard $27.5 million for an agent. H. PUBLICIZING: The combined synopsis and its included documents, to include any amendments that may be subsequently issued, can be downloaded from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) site at https://www.fbo.gov, and from the FedConnect site at https://www.fedconnect.net. The Contracting Officer will email copies of the combined synopsis solicitation upon your email request; requests must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. central time on Friday, May 11, 2018. Faxed Quotes and Alternative Line Item Quotes will not be considered. K. AWARD: Quotes will be evaluated for price and technical acceptance, with technical acceptance being more important than price. Specifics regarding the evaluation criteria and rating of quotes are detailed in the 'Evaluation Factors for Award' section of the Clauses and Provisions. L. REGISTRATION: All quoters are to have a Unique Entity Identifier* (UEI) number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, have completed their Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs) and be represented as a small business under the NAICS Code of 531130, in order to be awarded a contract; therefore, if you are not already registered and active in SAM, or have not completed your Representations and Certifications at https://www.sam.gov, it is strongly advised that you do so at this time.
