- Description
- RFI The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is seeking Contractors with the capability to provide Operations and Management, Development, Migration support for its Electronic Editing and Publishing System (eDOCS). eDOCs is NARA's electronic content management system for receiving, managing, editing, and making publicly available the legal documents required to be published within the Federal Register System. It is a NARA mission critical system and PMEF under COOP. Completed response(s) to this RFI shall be submitted no later than 3:00 PM EST on 6/1/18, to the following email address (HARD COPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS RFI RESPONSE): jeffrey.auser@nara.gov. Your response should not exceed 15 single-spaced pages, including all attachments - excluding the cover page and table of contents, using 1" margins and a font size greater than or equal to Times New Roman 12. Questions may be directed to Jeff Auser, Contracting Officer, at jeffrey.auser@nara.gov no later than 5/18/18 at 12:00 PM EST. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. All information received in response to this RFI, that is marked proprietary, will be handled accordingly. All information regarding the procedures developed under this RFI must be regarded as sensitive information by the contractor and not to be disclosed to anyone outside the contractor's organization without the written permission of the CO. Based on the written results of this RFI, if funding is available and NARA deems that sources are available to provide contractual support for eDOCS, the government will develop and finalize an acquisition strategy and may submit a follow-on announcement and/or solicitation in FEDBIZOPPS, or any other appropriate contracting vehicle such as NASA SEWP or GSA eBuy, requesting offers or quotes.
