- Lockheed Martin Corporation, Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded a $24,306,079 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-15-C-5332) to exercise options for Vertical Launching System Modules and associated equipment with the MK 41 Vertical Launch System. Work will be performed in the following locations: Indianapolis, Indiana (32%), Baltimore, Maryland (20%), Fort Walton Beach, Florida (15%), Johnstown, Pennsylvania (12%), Farmingdale, New York (9%), Saginaw, Michigan (5%), Orlando, Florida (4%), Waverly, Iowa (3%), and is expected to be completed by December, 2022. 2017 Other Procurement Navy (OPN), 2016 Shipbuilding and Conversion (Navy, SCN) and 2016 Defense Wide Procurement (DWP) funding in the amount of $24,306,079 will be obligated at the time of award. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity. Further Explanation of Contract: This option exercise is for MK 41 Mod 15 VLS modules and associated equipment. The option exercises also include DDG Aegis Modernization material, depot spares, and USN spares. Lockheed Martin Corporation, Rotary and Mission Systems is currently producing the MK-41 Vertical Launch Systems and these options were competed and priced at the time of award. Funding: FY 17 OPN (10%), FY16 SCN (88%), FY 16 DWP (2%)
