- Statement of Objectives (SOO) AFICA 772 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/ REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) THIS NOTICE IS ISSUED AS A SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ANNOUCEMENT FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), solicitation, or package requesting technical competencies/qualifications of the prospective contractor, nor does it represent any commitment by the Government. Since this is a Sources Sought announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. A solicitation does not presently exist. The Air Force will not accept or acknowledge: emails over 5MB, brochures, samples, catalogs, and any other marketing solicitation information. The Government is performing market research primarily in order to determine if there are firms that possess the capability to execute the requirements of this RFI. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of any Federal Government contract. Contractors are encouraged to obtain further information on SAM registration at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ The Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Operations Directorate (AFCEC/CO) has a requirement for Hydrant Fuel System Training in support of Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) and United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE) installations. The training shall cover an overview and operating principles of constant-pressure hydrant fueling systems (Type III), inspection of Type III systems, and control valve troubleshooting (see further details in attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). Please provide the following information in your response: 1. Company Name, CAGE Code and DUNS with a point of contact name, address, telephone number and email address 2. Specify your business type (e.g. large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) certified small disadvantaged business, HUBZone small business, woman- owned small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business based upon the NAICS you customarily provide this type of services under. Note: Specify all business types that apply. 3. Provide any additional NAICS code with justification that you would recommend as also being applicable. 4. Would you consider this requirement to coincide with services typically provided in the commercial market? 5. Please list any current federal contracts or GSA schedules you currently perform this service under. 6. Specify if your company has the ability to perform training at all locations listed on the attached SOO (as a registered SAM entity). 7. Based on the attached SOO, please give any feedback regarding any information you feel the SOO does not currently address that would provide clarity if you had to submit a quote. 8. Identify any service contracts completed in the past five (5) years for the same or similar scope to help determine your firm's capability in meeting the requirement for the services listed in the attached DRAFT SOO. You may include any government contracts (Federal, State, or local) you have been awarded for this type of requirement. Identify if your company was the prime contractor or a subcontractor for these projects. All responses shall be received by Thursday, 24 May 2018 @ 4:00 PM Central Daylight Time. Send responses via e-mail to TSgt Nigel Prince ( nigel.prince@us.af.mil ) or Capt Anthony Percy (anthony.percy.1@us.af.mil). Responses shall be no more than 15 pages (single spaced, front and back, no smaller than Times New Roman, font size 12 or equivalent). If submissions exceed the page count noted, the Government may only review the first 15 pages and disregard the remainder of the submission.
