- Description
- This amendment is issued to answer vendor's questions: 1. Question: Is this correct: 5838 rooms for the 4-month period June-September? Looks like an average of 48 rooms/night. Answer: As stated in the RFQ, the 5,838 rooms is an estimate and this is the total of rooms not the total of nights. The total nights will depend on the length of stay of each class. Also as stated, the number of rooms is subject to change based on class changes and cancellations. So the 5838 could increase or decreased depending on classes. Due to class changes and the fact that at this time, the Government does not have the exact dates for classes, an average per night or month cannot be given. 2. Question: Can you confirm the dates you are needing services? As stated in the "Requirements and Dates" Services are needed 1/7/18-1/13/18; 1/7/18-1/13/18; 1/14/18-1/27/18. Answer: The dates that are referenced in this question was part of an example: "For example, there may be two (2) classes of 24 students arriving on 1/7/18 and departing on 1/12/18; four classes of 24 to 48 students arriving on 1/7/18 and departing on 1/13/18; and then six classes of 24 to 48 students arriving on 1/14/18 and departing on 1/27/18." Again that is JUST an example. At this time, the Government does not have the definite dates nor number of students for each class that will need to be lodged off the Center. 3. Question: I received this bid and wanted to see if I can fill it out directly to you without paying any commission on room rate? Please let me know. Answer: The "bid" that is referenced is the Request for Quotes (RFQ) that has been posted on FedBizOp (www.fbo.gov). If you would like to submit a quote; then please do so. I am wondering if your question is concerning that you received the RFQ from a third party that is wanting to submit a quote for you hence the statement on commission. If that is the case, then that is up to your company. The RFQ has been posted for any vendor that meets the requirements to submit a quote if the vendor is interested. No further questions may be submitted, this is the final posting of vendor's questions.
