This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of l Businesses and firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 333318. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking business manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers, of functionally equivalent equipment to all the following: New TELEHEALTH OFFICE AND FURNITURE The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, engineering design, and supervision to design, manufacture, and deliver this equipment. Design and delivery shall be coordinated with the Service Point of Contact Personnel, to be revealed after contract award has been determined. PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. See attached requirements and diagram 2. Required 90 days maximum after date of award but, will accept delivery as soon as possible CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATION: Purchased components must meet two requirements. The component is top of the line in quality and replacement parts are locally available to the customer throughout the United States. WARRANTY: Prospective vendors shall be able to provide direct manufacturer support and shall directly issue a manufacturer's limited factor warranty of the government. 1) If applicable, brand names of major purchased components provided as part of the response shall be included but should not be construed as an attempt to limit competition. Specified brand names provided will not be given any weight during technical review and evaluation. 2) Vendor shall provide a diagram(s), or similar clearly indicating required features of procurement. DELIVERY LOCATION: The delivery area is located: James J Peters Bronx VAMC; 130 W Kingsbridge Rd. Bronx, NY 10468 CODES: Vendor shall comply with accepted manufacturer process, as well as current Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Labor Department, and New York codes, laws and regulations as applicable to this statement of work. FINAL INSPECTION: All material delivered must meet specifications provided and will be inspected by Operations Supervisor. All submission for any quotes will given to service POC approval/inclusion or exclusion based on salient characteristics. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 337214 (Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing). Thank You** James J. Peters VA Medical Center 130 West Kingsbridge Road Bronx, NY 10467 8A-05 Furniture I. Introduction The James J. Peters VA Medical Center located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY is seeking furniture partitions with doors, various sized desks and miscellaneous tables, a standing filing cabinet, and multiple chairs for the 8A-05 Telehealth Room. This system will be a new installation. The vendor shall be responsible for any damaged parts during installation and/or transportation. Contractor shall be responsible to replace damaged items. II. Information: The vendor is required to provide and install furniture partitions, straight and L-shape desks, a reception desk, some tables, a filing cabinet, guest chairs and task chairs. There shall be: Furniture: 1 FURNITURE: The vendor is required to provide and install furniture partitions, straight and L-shape desks, a reception desk, some tables, a filing cabinet, guest chairs and task chairs. *Task chairs shall be made with non-permeable chemically resistant fabric and components such as vinyl. Task chairs shall have caster wheels meant for hard flooring with mid-back backrest and ability for multiple adjustments include height of chair, height of armrest, and inclination of backrest. **Guest chairs shall be made with non-permeable chemically resistant fabric and components such as vinyl. Guest chairs shall have four legs and arm rests. 1. eighty (80) linear feet of 80-90" high partitions with six (6) integrated doors 2 Two (2) 66"x66" L-Shaped Desk with Pedestal Filing Cabinets and Hutch 2 EA 3 7 x (48"x24") Desk with Pedestal Filing Cabinet 7 EA 4 1 x (36"x24") Desk with Pedestal Filing Cabinet 1 EA 5 1 x (60"x30") Reception Desk 1 EA 6 1 x 24" Round Table 1 EA 7 1 x (18"x18") Square Table 1 EA 8 11 x Task Chairs 11 EA 9 15 x Guest Chairs 15 EA 10 Installations Contractor will provide installation and service team on-hand to answer any questions, verify all measurements and material quality, and quotes to reflect changes due to any unforeseen construction conditions. Contractor shall be present for final inspection and project sign off. Vendor shall not provide alternate products as alternate products cannot be considered. Deviation from this plan would restrict adaptability of product. Contractor shall be responsible for site measurement and supervision of installation. Order to be shipped to: James J. Peters VA Medical Center 130 West Kingsbridge Road Bronx, NY 10467 ATTN: FMSC Furniture shall meet an 8 hour work day. Furniture shall include hardware to install. COR will select finishes with awarded vendor. Furniture order and installation shall be coordinated with COR. The installation shall occur and be completed Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Confirmation from vendor shall be sent via email to COR will inspect that all products are installed 100%. Upon completion of inspection COR communicate to Contracting Officer the same authorizing that products have been received complete and payment can be released.
