- Sources Sought Dual Purpose K-9s THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. This is not a request for offers or proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award of contract. The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region is conducting market research and is seeking sources for Dual Purpose K-9's (Narcotics Dogs). Specific Task Requirements include: *Acceptable breeds for dual purpose police dogs; German shepherd, Dutch shepherd and Belgian Malinois; must be pre-trained in narcotics and police patrol duties. *Current health certification paperwork *Fully trained for police detection/patrol, narcotics, methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine, hash and heroine. *Must be licensed and/or certified by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control (OBNDDC) and the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA). *Dual purpose trained on all patrol services to include but not limited to: building searches, area searches, tracking, handler protection, criminal apprehension and obedience. If at least two qualified Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) or Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) are identified during this market research stage, then this acquisition may be solicited as an ISBEE or IEE set-aside. This requirement is assigned a NAICS code of 112990-All Other Animal Production with a size standard of $75 million. The specific purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is to determine if there are ISBEE and IEE businesses that are capable of providing the products listed above.
