Description
Pre-Proposal Conference notes" • Do the concrete blocks for the new retaining wall need to be the size shown on the drawings? Contractor has difference form sizes. Answer: different sizes are ok, Contractor would need to submit a design. • There are different size and material of fasteners - galvanized and stainless steel. Can they be all the same? Answer: Stainless steel used where visual appearance is important, galvanized used elsewhere. • Is all the wood Alaska Yellow Cedar? Answer: yes • Clarification on the wire fence, Drawing Sheet 8, Paragraph 4. Answer: It is galvanized with a green coating. There is most likely a minimum order amount, hence "order a full pallet", remaining will remain the property of the FS for use on another project. • What is the size of the snags? Answer: visit the site • Cut snags: Leave them laying or remove? Answer: Leave the laying, but not in the stream. • What is the boulder size? Answer: 3'x3' • Is there a brand name for the sheet drain? Answer: contractor will provide a submittal for the product. • What is the existing boardwalk made of? Answer: Rough sawn yellow cedar
