- Purpose of this Amendment 0001 is to provide responses to vendor questions 1-4. The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the services for the removal of debris from various locations on South Core Banks and Harkers Island. The debris on South Core Banks will need to be carried by barge/vessel to mainland and disposed of accordingly. Selected contractor will be responsible for all vehicles, vessels, containers, dumpsters, transportation, lodging, and equipment required to accomplish this project. Also services to demolish and remove all debris from 3 structures at Cape Lookout National Seashore. These 3 houses are referred to as the Smith House, Mason House, and Hamilton House. Demolish and remove 3 structures, all contents, all debris, and all exposed utilities for each structure. Dispose of all debris and material. The project site is located: CAPE LOOKOUT NATIONAL SEASHORE HARKERS ISLAND, NC See Scope of Work for detailed locations 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside The NAICS code is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors, Size Standards in Millions of dollars $15.0; and NAICS 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, $15.0. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. Required Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to complete the shoreline debris removal and the Demo of the (3) structures as outlined in the scope of work. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD.
