- Justification and Approval The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA), intends to solicit and award a Delivery Order to Security Engineered Machinery, 4420-B Lottsford Vista Rd, Lanham, MD 20706, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The EOUSA anticipates award of a Delivery Order, on a sole source basis, to Security Engineered Machinery for EOUSA has a need for the data destruction equipment located in the facility to be properly maintained on a semi-annual basis to ensure reliable and proper function. The equipment includes SEM Model 300 Jackhammer (quantity 1), SEM Model 0201 Optical Shredder (quantity 1), SEM Model 0202 Optical Shredder (quantity 1) and a SEM Model 200 Disintegrator (quantity 1). The period of performance is anticipated to be 60 months. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this solicitation is for informational purposes only. However, any information received within five days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information in response to this notice may be sent to Terri Long-Miller, Contracting Officer, at terri.long-miller@usdoj.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Telephonic questions or requests are strongly discouraged.
