- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to renovate the museum building within Cumberland Islands National Seashore, St Marys, GA in Camden County on or about June 07, 2018. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5418R0032. The project will include the installation of four large format print images behind the faux window frames on the exterior of the building, replacing the existing automatic opening ADA door with a new door, enlarging the existing interior alcove by relocating the two restroom walls and relocating the restroom entrance doors and removing and replace all the ceramic floor tile in the main entrance alcove. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238990. The small business standard is $15M. The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000 All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit is scheduled for this action on June 21, 2018 at 10:00am (ET) in St Marys GA. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10am (ET) on June 26, 2018 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of July 2018. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages Camden County, GA will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about June 07, 2018. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. After issuance of solicitation, send any inquires via email to Mary_Stefanos @nps.gov no later than 10:00am(ET) on June 26, 2018. NO oral questions will be accepted. NOTE: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released.
