Description

RFI#2 This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). The purpose of this follow-on RFI is to obtain additional market information and assess industry capabilities to help the 771st Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS) develop an enterprise strategy for the procurement of Height-Adjustable Stand-up Desk - Convertors (HASUD-C) and anti-fatigue mats for the U.S. Air Force (USAF). This RFI shall not be construed as a formal solicitation, request for quote or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. Responses to this RFI are not offers or quotes and will not be accepted by the Government to form a Blanket Purchase Agreement, delivery order, or binding contract of any nature. Participants are advised that only U.S. Government Contracting Officers are legally authorized to commit the Government to the obligation of funds. An RFI does not guarantee a solicitation will be issued. Submission of any information in response to this RFI is completely voluntary and costs associated with any submission shall not be reimbursed by the Government. The Government will not respond to or conduct formal debriefings to businesses as part of this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Proprietary information or trade secrets should be clearly identified and portion marked. Please monitor Federal Business Opportunities (FBO.gov) for future information pertaining to this potential requirement. Please download the attached Excel spreadsheet for additional information, projected specifications, and questions about the marketplace. There are 3 tabs in the worksheet the highlighted cells are for your data entry, pull down answers have been provided where possible. This information will be used to develop the acquisition strategy such as small business set-aside, warranty, shipping, and other points. Past history showed a need of about 9000 units per year.
