- Construction - Hanksville, Utah - BLM The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah seeks a contractor to demolish and reconstruct (re-make) ten landings/stairways, ten sidewalks and ten handrails located at the BLM Henry Mountains Field Station's residential housing at 380 South 100 West in Hanksville, Utah 84734. The full details are in the Scope Of Work (SOW) which are two of the attached files. This is a procurement for construction that has a magnitude between $25K and $100K. The estimated cost of this construction work is over $35,000.00 and hence Payment Bonding is required. This procurement is a 100% total set aside for small business and it is being conducted under NAICS code 236116 Housing, single-family, construction general contractors under which, to be a small business, a company must have $36.5 million dollars or less in average annual receipts in this category. This is a construction contract and hence the Davis Bacon Wage Rates and related matters apply. One of the attached files is the Davis Bacon Wage rates and related matters for Wayne County, UT in which county this construction work will take place. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for construction. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 140L5718Q0052 and it is a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99-1 7/16/2018. The method of source selection is lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA). Technically acceptable means having successfully performed work of this type in the past as can be verified by reference checks.
