- The Air Force is contemplating a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for the repair of the Guided Missile Maintenance Platform (GMMP) Brake Shoes, NSN 3950-01-462-6005, P/N 196-100-009 in support of the ICBM program. Contract Line Items (CLINs) and Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) are annotated for the repair of the GMMP Brake Shoes in accordance with the part number and attachments to the solicitation. The best estimate of quantities required each year is provided. Each Task Order (TO) shall stand alone and shall specify the number of GMMP Brake Shoes requiring repair. Unit repair prices established in the basic contract will be used to calculate the cost of each TO. Firm Fix Price (FFP) is the requested pricing arrangement. The Government has elected to do a Single Award for the repair of the GMMP Brake Shoes. The Ordering Period is five (5) years from contract award. The resulting contract will be awarded to the offeror who provides the lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA). All quotes will be ranked first on total price from low to high. Price and price reasonableness is based on the competition and then evaluated on technical acceptability from lowest price to highest price until a technically acceptable offer is found. When the offer with the lowest price is deemed technically acceptable, no further technical evaluations will be conducted. Per FAR 16.501-2(b)(3): Indefinite-quantity contracts limit the Government's obligation to the minimum quantity specified in the contract. Failure of the government to purchase services in the quantities described in the schedule as "Estimated" or "Maximum" will not entitle the contractor to any equitable adjustment in price.
