- This Request for Proposal will result in a Quantity Contract. The item being procured is BALLISTIC FOAM for NSN 1680-01-496-5339. This procurement will be issued as Unrestricted utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1 procedures The requested quantity is 210 each. The part number is 160D611706-27. The approved sources of supply are Thermal Structures (54787), L-3 Communications Integrated (23974), Northrop Grumman Systems (26512), and Survival Systems International (0GZT5). The required delivery schedule is 113 days. Export Control Applies. FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance is Origin. DLA AVIATION RICHMOND does not currently have an approved technical data package available for this NSN. Solicitation issue date is 15 AUG 18. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
