- Drawings SF1442 2. PRINCIPLE WORK FEATURES (REMOVAL): This project includes, but is not limited to, the following principle removal features. (a) Remove existing paint and clean at interior surface of water tanks with sand blasting or water jet. 3. PRINCIPLE WORK FEATURES (INSTALLATION): This project includes, but is not limited to, the Following principles features of installation. (See attached list of tank) (a) Surface preparation and cleaning of steel and other hard materials by brush and high pressure water jetting prior to recoating for the interior water tanks and water poof by epoxy coating. (Tank 10ea) Reference O&MA spec 09 90 00. (b) Apply coatings that conform to the respective specifications listed in the following Interior Concrete Paint Table and Interior Metal, Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Paint Table. (c) After Contract award, Shop drawing shall be show scaffolding and safety plan for the type of material and fabrication details and installation procedures. (d) ©All cleaning and paint work will meet current National Environment Regulations. Damage: Any damage created as a result of the contractor's actions shall be repaired by him at no cost to the Government. 5. Contractor's responsibilities: It is the contractor's responsibility to verify the measurements provided in these documents and comply with items stated as any local regulations concerning this type of work. (a) Contractor shall be responsible for cleanup and disposal of all work related debris. (b) Government have responsible for vacate and refill of the water tanks. 6. Warranty: All Material and workmanship will be warranted against defects for a period of 1 year. 7. Work period: The contractor will have 180 days, received N.T.P from K.O of this contract, to complete all work in its entirety.
