- Statement of Work - RFQ Attachment SF1449 Request for Quotes HQ042318Q0031 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97. This is an unrestricted acquistion. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220, with a small business size standard of $15 Million. Defense Finance Accounting Service is seeking quotes from Small Business that are qualified to contract services for HVAC to replace the existing "Split" A/C unit for the telephone exchange server (PBX) room currently servicing the agency. Please be advised that all interested parties that require a site visit to properly quote to ensure the product will meet the requirement shall contact the Government Point of Contact (GPOC) at least 24 hours in advance to arrange for access to the site/building. The Government Point of Contact for this requirement is David Steiner at 315-709-6062 or Dave Laplante at 315-709-6585. Please ensure adequate time is permitted in which to conduct a site visit, if required, and prepare a quote before the closing date/time listed. The contractor shall perform the following tasks: Demolition Work 1. Reclaim existing coolant and dispose of properly. 2. Secure Power following proper lockout/tag out procedures. 3. Remove interior and exterior units. New Work Provide new Split Unit, single zone, cooling only required, and provide a wireless remote control unit for operator control: New unit must be capable of cooling approximately 600 square feet of floor space (5,400 cf) and maintaining a consistent room temperature of between 68 - 72 degrees. Room currently holds 24 servers (400 watts each) that support the site phone system. There are plans to add 3 more servers in the near future, so new unit must be able to effectively cool the same area following the installation of 3 additional servers. Install new indoor and outdoor condenser. Install new refrigerant and condensate lines. Install new non-fused disconnect for outdoor unit. Re-connect electrical supply to indoor and outdoor units. If new electrical service to outdoor is found to be needed, contractor will be required to provide. Test Equipment Items Not Required: Does not include repair or diagnosis of exiting mechanical equipment. Temporary HVAC controls or start-up by others. Demolition, painting, patching of any kind is not included in this estimate Equipment start-up by others Additional Requirements: Work to be performed is expected to occur during normal working hours. Normal working hours are defined as 0630-1800 Monday through Friday. Pricing to be valid for 120 days One year warranty for new installed equipment/device. All interested small business companies shall provide a quote for the following, pricing for which can be included on Page 3 on the SF1449 provided as an attachment: CLIN0001 Quantity: 1 Unit of Issue: JOB Price: Description: Replacement of existing unit and installation of new Split Unit to cool room housing PBX telephone servers. Minimum BTU 36,000, single zone, cooling only required, wireless remote control unit for operator control. Work to be performed in accordance with the SOW provided as an attachment to the RFQ.
