***** Begin Word Document - 'FBO-DESCRIPTION: Combined Synopsis Cabinets Custom Installation ***** This is a sources sought solicitation set aside for SDVOSB s and VOSB s for BRAND NAME ONLY commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotes under solicitation number: 36C26218Q9863 The Department of Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System, Long Beach, CA 90822 has a requirement for BRAND NAME ONLY cabinets and custom installation. The Contractor shall furnish and install all supplies/services at The VA Long Beach Healthcare System located at 5901 E 7th Street, Building 707, Room 126, Long Beach, CA 90037. This is a BRAND NAME ONLY solicitation set aside for SDVOSB s and VOSB s Solicitation set aside for SDVOSB s and VOSB s only                                                                       Attending a Job  walk  is required to  bid  this  project.     A  one  time  only  job  walk  will  be  held  at  the  VA  Long  Beach  Healthcare  system, Building  707,  room  126  on  August  07,  2018  at  10:00  AM   Contractor is responsible for all measurements and discrepancies   All  RFI's  must  be  submitted  in  writing  to                                       John.harrison2@va.gov  no  later  than  08/10/2018  1:00  PM  PST Proposals  must  be  turned  in  to  John.harrison2@va.gov  by  August  14,  2018  1:00  PM  PST.   No  late  proposals  will  be  accepted.                                                                                                       NO  PHONE  CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Award will be based upon lowest price first and in the event of the same price is being proposed then the shortest delivery and installation time will determine the award.                                                                                                                         It has been determined that the Long Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center s Logistics storage needs can be met through the use of additional Space saver framewrx storage systems, specialty shelving and related accessories. These systems are designed to accept two standard basket sizes to maximize the use of the existing floor space. 1) Column area Furnish and install one 78 high standard framewrx moveable system with a 4+3 static back-to-back lateral and single fixed row that all have new 18" baskets on the three lowest levels and new 12" baskets on the 3 upper levels. In summary, one side of the double fixed will have three moveable racks that will have 6 levels and these will combine three new 18" baskets and three new 12 baskets on each level. 2) Entry door area. Furnish and install one 78" high standard framewrx moveable 2+1 system that will have a 2 wide single fixed row and one movable row. Both the fixed units and the moveable are to have four levels of 18 deep, solid shelves. 3) Wall space. Furnish and install one row of three 78" high fixed framewrx units. Each unit is 33-1/2 wide. Also furnish and install three new 18" baskets on the bottom and three new 12 baskets on the top portion of each unit. 4) Single section space. Furnish and install one fixed, framewrx unit that is 33-1/2" wide x 18" deep with three new 18" baskets on the bottom and three new 12 baskets on top. 5) Office area. Furnish and install two 33-1/2 wide x 18 deep x 78 high framewrx units that will each accommodate six new wire baskets; 3 @ 12 deep and 3 @ 18 deep. Also, furnish and install one, 4 -0 wide x 18 deep x 78 high 4-post shelf unit with five adjustable shelves. Outside of these units, there will be one (1) 6 -0 wide x 7 -0 high locking tambour door (Silver finish) and one 4 -0 wide x 7 -0 high tambour door to provide security and a nice appearance in this space. Laminated 7 -0 high end panels on both ends to provide proper support for the tambour doors. 6) Area 153. furnish and install one double stationary framer unit, 33-1/2 wide with baskets on both sides. One side will have 6 baskets with 12 and the other side will be baskets with 12 on the top 3 levels and 18 baskets on the bottom levels. 7) Accessories and misc. The following accessories and items shall be included: A) Cut-to-fit, Plexiglas panels for each new base and each existing base of the framewrx lateral systems to prevent spills or leaking on to the floor. There are approximately 200 existing Framwrx bases and 20 new Framewrx bases involved. B) Change and/ or repair a 5 -0 length of rail that is grossly rusted on one of the existing framewrx systems. C) Check and service each existing Framewrx system. 8) Delivery, Systems Inspection and Installation A) DELIVERY LEAD-TIME: B) EXPECTED INSTALLATION PERIOD: The solicitation will be in accordance with FAR Part 12, 13, and 19, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Small Business Programs, and Veteran Affairs Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337127, Size Standard 500 Employees. The Contractor shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of this contract. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. The Contract begins on the date of award. Offerors are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments.
