- The Indian Health Service intends to solicit and award a single fixed-price contract to install individual wastewater treatment septic systems for six residential homes on the Shinnecock Nation Territory located in Suffolk County, New York. The Indian Health Service intends to set-aside this requirement for 100% small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition will be - 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is $36.5 Million. Contractors shall demonstrate qualifications through documentation of past experience in constructing individual wastewater disposal systems in Nassau and/or Suffolk County, NY. This proof of experience can be waived if the contractor is certified through the Long Island Liquid Waste Association (LILWA) or is a licensed septic installer with Suffolk County, NY.
