The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) has a requirement for replacement beds for Geri-Psych Ward. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification relative to NAICS code 339113 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), capable of performing the requirements to warrant a socio-economic set-aside or full & open competition. This notice is to identify potential vendors that can provide bread and bread products at a firm-fixed price for One Year (1) and Three (3) Warranty Years. Statement of Work Contract Title Replacement Beds for Geri-psych ward Background: During recent months, multiple issues have been discovered with the current supply of mattresses and hospital beds on CLC W2. Beds have their life span and the current beds in place do not provide sufficient support for our patients. Scope: Beds will be utilized by inpatient Veterans reciveing care in the Commnuity Living Center Geriatric Physcology Ward. Specific Tasks: Brand name or equal to minimum specifications. Support patient weight up to 500 lbs. Support Safe Working Load up to 550lbs Integrated motorized drive system Integrated patient scales for patient weights; ability to record History, Add/Remove items and Weight Adjustment feature. Connects to Hill Rom Nurse call system; feeds data to call system that can be pull for analysis (i.e. patient weight; bed alarm status, notification; call alarm, reaction time; mattress pressure, pressure loss); ability to view therapy/bed position history. Two upright integrated oxygen tank holders at Head of Bed. Integrated electronic bed lengthening ability up to 10 inches with no separate parts installation requirements One Button Full Chair positioning with Head of Bed at 77 degrees and Dependent Foot positioning at 75 degrees Inclination. Chair Egress from the foot end of the bed with Chair Stand Assist. No Patient Support Straps required to reposition patient to sitting or standing position Side Egress with Stand Assist capability Mattress patient comfort adjust settings to control firmness of mattress. Tilt Table up to -18 degrees 2 Digital and 2 Line of Site Head of Bed angle indicators 30 and 45 Degree Head of Bed Alarms 7 to 15 of clearance to accommodate a C-Arm Fully integrated micro climate low air loss surface mattress; management of pressure, and shear; fully integrated pulmonary surface with continuous lateral rotation therapy and percussion & vibration therapy with HOB at 30-degree position. Fully integrated one button turn assist for Q2 Protocol Inflate mode for ease in repositioning with automatic return to prior settings after maximum of 30 minutes Side exist assist mattress inflation feature to keep air surface firm for sitting on side of bed and support weight during ingress and egress. Integrated X-Ray Cassette Sleeve Automatic battery backup with status indicator for full functionality of bed articulations when unplugged Brake Off alarm 3 Position Bed Alarms with Silence and Suspend feature.
