Description
This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) only. Market research is being conducted to determine the amount of qualified and capable businesses that can provide the items requested below. If you believe your firm is able to provide the items requested below, you are encouraged to respond by the due date with all of the required information indicated below in order to be considered. Due date for responses is 3:30PM local time/CT on Friday, August 10, 2018. Email responses to Melanie Stockman at melanie.stockman@va.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer in writing via email. Telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted/returned. NAICS: 339112 Size Standard: 1,000 employees BRAND NAME OR EQUAL-SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Neuro Microscope System Two separate beam paths: one for depth of field and the other for high resolution. Illumination that is small angle and 400 Watt or greater light. Small Angle Illumination (SAI) Apochromatic optics Magnification Multiplier with a minimum of a 40% magnification boost Minimum of 600 mm working distance to easily use large instruments Compact optics carrier to allow surgeon to be closer to operative site for delicate procedures Choice of different binoculars to fit needs: var. 30-150A T and 0-180, all with 360 ° rotation Optimal visualization for rear assistant with independent fine focus Ergonomics for rear assistant to improve posture during cross-table setups Cables and cameras must be fully incorporated into the optics carrier. Must be able to update imaging technology HD 2D, 3D or fluorescence Must be able to switch between modules with just a few button clicks for efficient comparison of fluorescence techniques and seamless workflow integration. Data must be injected directly into the eyepieces. Displays FL800 vascular fluorescence, GLOW800 augmented reality fluorescence microscope data, endoscope images, and is fully compatible with IGS systems 1080p full HD display with LED backlight deliver high-resolution, high-contrast images Must be designed to allow only one touch of the microscope handgrip or footswitch is needed to activate an overlay, for interruption-free work. Must have Injected images capable of being seen by assistant enhancing their ability to follow each delicate movement, plus HD recording with injected images supports later review and teaching Digital recording system Fusion Optics Trifluoro capabilities Speed Laser Focus
