- J.14 Bid Sheet, revised on 8.6.18 RFP section L.5.2, Volume II: Business Proposal, has been revised so that only the information below is required in the business proposal. 1.The Business Proposal shall include J.14 Bid Sheet, revised on 8.6.18 only. No other break out is required. 2. The Contractor shall guarantee said offered price and bid sheet pricing, free from any change for four months from the date of the submission of its proposal. 3. The Offeror should review the RFP terms, conditions and clauses to identify any contracting terms and conditions from which they want to deviate and note this in the business proposal. Any such deviation will not necessarily cause a proposal to be determined as unacceptable or for the proposal to be rejected, but it will alert the Contracting Officer of areas that may need to be negotiated should a contract be awarded. The Smithsonian reserves the right to reject or downgrade any proposal deviating from the requirements of this RFP and to amend the RFP as appropriate. 4. Large Businesses only must submit a subcontracting plan consistent with PL 95-507, PL 99-661 and PL 100-656 with the business proposal. MPORTANT CHANGE. Gallery105 - Reinventing Flight has been deleted from the RFP. Disregard technical drawing package X0383-105-Reinventing Flight. A revised and more detailed bid sheet (attachment J.14) will be posted by August 7, 2018. equest for Proposal from The Smithsonian Institution ("Smithsonian") National Air and Space Museum (NASM) to provide exhibit fabrication and installation services for nine state-of-the-art exhibitions. The contract is expected to be awarded in September 2018. The delivery date for Sequence 1 is in October 2021 and for Sequence 2 in March 2022. This solicitation has a minimum requirement that offerors must have had experience fabricating at least two complex exhibits that integrated objects, images, and multimedia, in a space that is at minimum 40,000 sq-ft in the last 5 years with at least two being completed. FIRMS MUST CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY MEET THIS REQUIREMENT AT THE FRONT OF THEIR TECHNICAL PROPOSAL. The RFP deadline for submission of questions has been extended to July 13 at 9:00 am EST. The deadline for submission of proposals has been extended to August 30, 2018 9:00 am.
