Description
In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, the United States Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) intends to issue a sole-source solicitation (W56HZV-18-R-0066) restricted to DRS Sustainment Systems Inc., 201 Evans Lane, St. Louis, MO, 63121, for System Technical Support (STS), Sustainment System Technical Support (SSTS), and Post Production Software Support (PPSS) services for the M1200 Armored Knight Vehicles and the common Fire Support Mission Equipment Package (MEP) in both the M1200 Armored Knight Vehicles and the Stryker Fire Support Vehicles (FSVs). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16) within forty-five days after the date of publication of this synopsis. The solicitation will be for a 5-year requirements contract. STS and SSTS services for the M1200 Armored Knight and common Fire Support MEP will consist of program, configuration, and obsolescence management; software engineering and enhancements; testing and test support; Field Service Representative (FSR) services; systems and equipment training; vehicle survivability enhancements; product assurance (quality engineering and quality assurance) support; and Integrated Logistics Support. PPSS services will consist of software maintenance and sustainment-related activities. Performance of these services is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of calendar year 2019 and continue for five consecutive years. The solicitation will be issued on or about 21 August 2018, and will close on or around 20 September 2018. A U.S. Government Technical Data Package (TDP) is not available for this procurement action. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
